Ignoring the Cold

Mid may is very close to the beginning of Winter, here in Sydney, so wandering around here at close to midnight is a chilly thing to do. I was very cold to begin with and even had a pink wrap for warmth, but eventually I managed to ignore the cold. Or maybe my back went numb. Either way, it works!

This was the midnight opening of Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith at Fox Studios, Australia. With La Premier tickets, we didn't have to worry about lining up and fighting for a seat, so we spent the time wandering around, having dinner and taking pictures.

This is sort of V1 of Padme's Rainbow Lake Dress from Attack of the Clones, and the dress was altered some what at a later date. To put it simply....I made the back way to low. It's made from layers of hand dyed poly chiffon over a hand dyed sheath of stretch cotton. The necklace is super scuply hand painted with opalescent and gold metallic acryllic paints.
